Booking Policy
Booking & Cancellation
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 10% at the time of booking is required. The remaining balance will be processed upon your arrival date.
Guests will be reimbursed their deposit, less a $50 administration fee, if reservation is cancelled up to two months prior to arrival date. A cancellation less than two months prior to the arrival date will result in a charge of the full deposit amount.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash & cheque.
All deposits and additional fees are subject to 15% HST.
4 nights minimum
Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 10:30am.
A late checkout request may be subject to a late checkout fee. Late checkout is solely at the discretion of Cottage on the Point and is subject to availability on the day of your checkout.
Other Policies
No parties are permitted.
For intimate gatherings, limited in size, please seek permission in advance. It is at the discretion of Cottage on the Point whether an additional usage fee will be required.
We maintain quiet hours between 11:00pm and 8:00am.
Please indicate if you have pets.
The cottage is non-smoking. A cleaning fee of $250.00 will be charged to any guest who smokes inside the cottage.
Damage, breakages, and/or loss of the property’s fixtures, furnishings and effects will be charged to your credit card. We take no responsibility for guest’s personal property, and travel insurance is recommended for this purpose.
Departure clean: The property should be left in a similar state to its condition upon arrival. An additional cleaning fee of $125 will be charged if not left clean, or if excessive cleaning of the cottage is required.
Parking: There is a maximum of 2 parking spaces available in front of the cottage. If a party arrives with more than 2 vehicles, they will need to park their additional vehicle(s) in a public parking lot, but not on our property.
